ADULT FORMATION

ADULT FORMATION

Faith formation is a life-long process whereby we are, little by little, apprenticed into the spiritual traditions and practices of our church. This happens through our weekly immersion in the Word, sacraments and community. Thereby we become living members of Christ's body made accessible and tangible in a parish community.

You are welcome to become a member of that community at St. Peter's through participation in Sunday worship and any of our numerous parish and outreach ministries that provide growth in faith, service and community.

Since 2021, a regional faith community comprised of people from a number of our local parishes, has been meeting with a goal of deepening Christian spirituality. This community is following an itinerary of faith formation through a bi-weekly celebration of the Word (1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 7:00pm), a quarterly Eucharist (on the 5th Wednesday) and community fellowship together.

The Regional Faith Community provides an opportunity for deeper spiritual and faith formation as adults.

The bi-weekly study of biblical themes, enlightened by tradition and reason, help us better understand and follow our calling as disciples of Jesus Christ.

This regional faith community also hosts Lenten formation series to which all are invited.
